Welcome to Adult Chair User

Hello and Welcome

Empowering adults with disabilities to enjoy fulfilling relationships and intimacy through education, resources, and support.

This site is designed to give an interesting and informative view about all the available medications and equipment that can be used to enhance and improve the sex life of someone that is disabled. After all, a full and active sex life is beneficial to every relationship.

From my earliest encounters with other wheelchair users that were in a similar position to myself, I was both amazed and disappointed to hear that they were very negative about their future sex life, and their ability to keep their partners fully satisfied.

During my time in hospital, the nurse that first told me of my 'predicament' once came to the bottom of my bed and said, "I don't want to disappoint you.... but sex has to be more of a mental thing".

To which I replied, "Well, I don't want to disappoint you either.... but it always has been".

It doesn't take much thought to turn a good 'f**k' into a great love making session.

There is a lot more to sex than just the intercourse.... if you practice all the various forms of foreplay.... and pay attention to what actually 'does it' for your partner.... and thereby, become a bit of a master at it.... you'll be one step ahead of most people.

For the external sensations that you have 'lost'.... or never had.... there are internal one's that can be enjoyed.

Like I always say to friends now, "I'm disabled.... not dead"!
