Apparatus

A more practical page about how everyday disability equipment can shape positioning, support, and variety.

Practical setups

This page treats assistive equipment as part of a workable, creative sex life rather than a barrier to one.

Wheelchair

Relatively obvious, but with a little adjustment to your seating position and a good imagination, it can lead to loads of fun.

It is recommended that you get yourself backed up against a solid surface for this one, unless you like the added risk of potential injury.

Backed up against the sofa is my preference, but anywhere that your partner can get a firm foot rest is good.

Hoist

If you and or your partner like it doggy style, the hoist makes a perfect sex swing and can be used in a number of ways.

It can work as either the main setup or part of the warm-up before moving to your chosen place for the full session.

Standing Frame

The one described here would need serious modification for some positions, but with minimum adjustments it can still accommodate others, such as upright positions.

Broader Point

Other areas can add variety too, such as the sofa, bath, car, or anywhere else you can think of. The page also recommends a bed with strong head and tail boards that can be used for support.
